Art Exhibit: War: Material and Lies

This is my latest piece for WAR: Material and Lies at TSL in Hudson,NY
It is the largest piece (5 feet) I have ever done; and the most raw
and emotional.
It is about society's passivity about war, the four horsemen of the apocalypse
and the destructive forces of civilization (one of which is war) and the innocent and
the pure (figures at the bottom.) Made from recycled clothing (mine and Walter's).
The Exhibition continues the dialogue about where we are as a nation, state, and community. Artists featured in the exhibit include Janet Cooper, Grier Horner, Jackson, Berta Leone, Sam Sebren, Ed Smith, and Cat Thompson. The opening will also highlight the music of Shelving Rock led by Stephen Iachetta playing "new environ-rock-electric" violin, mandolin and guitar.
Opens Sat, Sept 6 from 6:00 - 8:00. Reg Hours: Thurs - Sun 1 hr prior to events.
